We are a dance studio without walls! I was also blessed with countless performance and networking opportunities thanks to the staff of Capitol Movement. Her choreography is a fusion of contemporary and hip hop that is rooted deeply in musicality and groove. Her dance training is in tap, jazz, lyrical, hip hop, pointe, and modern techniques. Crystal performed many roles in the Union County Youth Ballet's Nutcracker Ballet, including Snow Queen, Arabian, and Dew Drop. Wether it is traveling world teaching classes or choreographing music videos, Dejan Tubic is leaving his mark on the dance industry. Overall, our Group, Line and Production Routines won 12 first place awards and 7 second place awards.
As a young working professional in D. Shontal Snider Rehearsal Director Shontal Snider is a founding member of the Capitol Movement Dance Company. She also taught 4 competitive solos of jazz and lyrical. The artistry of dance here is so captivating, passionate and moving! Outside his remarkable online presence and achievements, Dejan continues to work as a dancer and choreographer. We also want to thank our faculty and volunteers for your backstage help. Capitol Movement has taken my daughter to new levels in dance and entertainment by providing her with unique opportunities that push her towards her goal of having a career as a professional dancer.

She continues to follow her dream while educating the younger generations by teaching dance at facilities such as; Making Moves Dance Collective, The Dance Institute of Washington, The Little Gym of Alexandria, The University of the Arts, and Capitol Movement Studio. Our teachers even got to perform with DanceMaker's instructor, and former student, Dejan Tubic, during the closing number! Thanks for coming and showing these dancers some love!
