Cultural Relevance rating: 3 Though book is not culturally offensive, it could be more culturally inclusive, particularly in the examples and illustrations. Interface rating: 5 I really appreciate the linked content from the table of contents which makes finding the material for reading assignments very easy. Clarity rating: 4 The text is very accessible to the undergraduate student. This text is highly consistent in terms of terminology and the framework. I was able to easily click on the match and go to those pages. At the end of each section, there are practice quizzes, reflection questions and a glossary of concepts. I have seen other textbooks other than this one where this has been placed in a non-organize fashion and it makes it much harder for students to understand and relate the theoretical perspectives on each topic. The materials are objectively presented in reflecting current cultural values while allowing the instructor to interject additional materials supplementing the presentation of the materials. I do not find the example of the Parrotheads to be relevant to today's students, and some of the technology pictures are already outdated.
