Gerry joined the Humblebums with Billy Connolly in the late sixties but the duo broke up after recording a couple of albums. With the album also selling well, Rafferty was persuaded to return. That same year Egan and Rafferty formed the group Stealers Wheel. Rafferty some credit here too—it was, after all, his record!
