. I love Rafe and Sara. This was mor This novel had a lot going on and not in a bad way. He was stabbed when he saved Sara in the first book. She re injures her knee during a chase, she's afraid she won't be back to work.
But that wasn't where the book lost me. I honestly felt like Sara fell in love with Rafe's family right along with falling in love with him, since it had pretty much just been Sara and her dad for so many years. This book will show you the passion and the way these characters fall Love Me if You Dare was a cute read for me. She wants to throw herself back into duty at full throttle, but until her injuries heal, she's on leave and in search of her rescuer. Someone who sees Simon as a friend.
Sara doesn't believe that marriage is forever and cops can't have a good marriage. Her family is proof that cops and marriage don't mix. He was so patient with his family, and especially with Sara. But Simon Bo Wallace Huo , a brilliant criminal psychologist, has the ability to get into the minds of even the most mysterious and violent criminals. Yet still I cannot like it. He has now become New York's most eligible bachelor.
Perhaps they're simply insane, and trapped in their mutual obsession. Rafe went off to his hometown to rest, and Sara - who needed to be scarce due a case she had been on - followed him in search of protection. Can these two spend time alone together and not act on their feelings? She is being threatened because she is the main witness in a murder case. I loved catching up with characters from the last book. This was a good story with a little bit of mystery and intrigue thrown in, too.
With the help of his young assistant, Jenny Jian Ma Si Chun , Simon delves into the thoughts and intentions of the criminal mind. While chasing the robber Sara becomes a hostage. I think that Sara and Rafe had a bit more chemistry as a couple than Coop and Lexie. Shortly after that the engagement ended. Acquaintances of the suspect keep making threats on her life.
Either way I'm a Carly Phillips fan thanks to both books. Did I loathe them as people, or as characters? Sara is supposed to be keeping a low profile because of an upcoming trial, but she is also being covered on the Hottest Bachelor Blog. Their treaty revolves around a little tin box, a toy painted to look like a merry-go-round. I was pulled into this book and devoured it in one afternoon!! Loved the book and so happy to see Sara and Rafe get what they both want. She is put on leave and recoups at home. I adored Rafe and Sara as a couple, even though they aren't more than ex-partners and friends when Love Me If You Dare begins. He hires Jenny to help him with his work, and they fall in love.
This story is funny and very sexy. Then Rafe admits that Sara is much more than just another woman he's rescued. He goes back to upstate New York to his home town to recuperate. The first little bit seemed promising and I thought I was going to enjoy the book. I enjoyed the family part of this story the most. She continues the tradition of hot men and strong women and plans to publish many more sizzling stories.
I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a revie Not what I expected but that is meant in the most positive way. Another amazing book by Carly Phillips. Suddenly, a firestorm of gossip turns him The perfect catch is about to fall for the one woman he's always resisted. Sara had no such ties. Now it's Sara's turn from book one. I had planned to give this one 3 stars, but the more I thought about it, the more the book didn't work for me.
