Some of them are really disabled. The Moon is filled wit craters. The removal of the beggary from society is the crying need of the day. Even though begging is a crime in India, the number of beggars goes on increasing. People take pity on their state and give them money.
I faced one such street beggar once. Some beggars stand or sit on the footpath and beg by singing or uttering a few words. Public awareness should be raised. He is seen in patched up and torn clothes. The job of a snake charmer is quite dangerous. But often some healthy men begin to beg who do not deserve charity at all.
He begs from dawn to dusk and returns how with whatever he gets. People pity him and give him money, flour, flood or clothes. He is seen at a cinema hall, near religious places, at bus stand and at railway station. Most of the hawkers shout to sell bread, biscuits, chocolates etc. Some beggars have bowls in their hands.
He is seen with his torn and shabby জীর্ণ clothes. They are unable to earn their livelihood. They not only become idler but also are undesirable members of the society. Lord Rama, the prince of Ayodhya, in order to help his father Dasharatha went to exile for fourteen years. I feel pity seeing him but I can't help it I can only pray to God to help him to earn his livelihood. Some of them are seen in torn out clothes and others are wearing yellow loose dress. Generally, women have sympathetic attitude for them.
He stands at the roadside and stretches his hand with a shout for a paisa or a note. However, there is actually very less number of work available which suits their abilities. They at times get more than many honest workers. He goes from one place to another to show various types of snakes and their tricks. Some are blind, some are dumb and deaf and some are invalid পঙ্গু.
However, it is true that hartal is very harmful to a country. If someone takes that money to his home, he will be punished. Yes, by giving them money or anything we encourage them. It also consists of comets, meteoroids and asteroids. Nowadays begging is turned to be a business for many of them. A Snake Charmer A snake charmer is a person who moves the streets with different types of the banks of the river Yamuna.
Some of them sleep in empty bogies in the railways work sheds. After a while when I crossed the same traffic signal, I saw that poor man talking to a young person. He is usually sick and weak. The only aim of his life is to get a meal and if he gets it he is happy. The scene of the winter morning vanishes because the day advances. But that day I felt too bad to see that street beggar.
They go from door to door daily. They think that if they do good acts, god would be pleased with them and He would send them to this world as men. They live from day to day and hand to mouth. Most of the people live in villages and are farmers. Some are seen in loin- cloth. So it should be observed within some limit.
But it, at times, solves problems. He lives below poverty line. He begs for alms, money, food, etc. However, a bus stand could be a helpful place. Broadly speaking beggars are of two types-able bodies and disabled. He carries a begging bowl.
